Privacy policy
Agent Guild, Agent Guild for VS Code, Agent Guild: World, the Agent Guild app for iPhone, iPad and Apple Vision Pro, the Agent Guild app for Android, and this website are made by Odd Essentials. This page says what each of them does with your data.
Effective 25 October 2026.
In short
- None of them has analytics, telemetry, ads or tracking, and none needs an account with us.
- Your sessions, code and prompts stay on your computer and the devices you connect to it. We don't receive them.
- They do make ordinary requests to other services, listed below. Those services handle the requests under their own privacy policies. We only use services that protect your data to the same standard as this policy, and we send them nothing beyond what each request needs.
- The coding tools you run in Agent Guild, such as Claude Code and Codex CLI, send your work to their own providers under those providers' terms.
- We don't sell or share data about you.
Agent Guild
Agent Guild runs on your computer and listens only on that computer. It keeps its settings and access token in its data folder there.
It contacts package registries for version checks and updates, Anthropic and OpenAI for usage meters with each tool's own sign-in, news and model-list sources, GitHub when you use its GitHub panel, and YouTube when you open Videos. The full list is in its README. None of these requests carry your code or prompts.
If you turn on remote access, your terminals are reachable over your Tailscale network by anyone with the sign-in link or code.
Agent Guild for VS Code
The extension has no telemetry. It connects to Agent Guild on your computer, starts it if it isn't running, and opens links in your browser. Your editor and its extension store have their own privacy settings.
Agent Guild: World
- World opens through Steam, which handles your purchase and play under Valve's privacy policy.
- It sets your Steam rich presence to how many sessions are running, which your Steam friends can see.
- It connects to Agent Guild on this computer or on computers you add.
- During setup it can download Node.js from nodejs.org and install Agent Guild with npm.
- Workshop pieces you subscribe to come from Steam. Pieces you publish go to Steam only when you choose to publish them.
- Copy details copies a report for support with secrets left out. It leaves your computer only if you paste it somewhere.
The Agent Guild app for iPhone, iPad and Apple Vision Pro
- Each computer you add, with its name, address and access token, is kept in this device's Keychain. It isn't synced to other devices, and it isn't sent to us.
- The app loads Agent Guild's page from your computer, at the address you added.
- The camera scans the sign-in code on the device. No image is kept or sent.
- When you dictate, the microphone and Apple's speech recognition turn your speech into text. Apple may process the audio on its servers, under Apple's privacy policy.
- When you open Videos, the page loads thumbnails and players from YouTube.
- The demo loads simulated data from GitHub Pages.
- Links open in Safari.
- If you choose to share analytics with app developers in your device's settings, Apple sends us crash reports and usage data under Apple's terms.
The Agent Guild app for Android
- Each computer you add, with its name, address and access token, is kept on this device, encrypted with a key from the Android Keystore. It's left out of backups and device transfers, and it isn't sent to us.
- The app loads Agent Guild's page from your computer, at the address you added.
- The camera scans the sign-in code on the device, and on a Meta Horizon OS headset it uses the passthrough camera. No image is kept or sent.
- When you dictate, the microphone and your device's speech recognition service turn your speech into text. That service may process the audio on its provider's servers, under its provider's privacy policy.
- When you open Videos, the page loads thumbnails and players from YouTube.
- The demo loads simulated data from GitHub Pages.
- Links open in your browser.
This website
Cloudflare hosts this site and its media, and receives the requests your browser makes, as any host does. The site sets no cookies and has no analytics. Videos load from YouTube only when you press play.
Removing your data
- Agent Guild: its data is in its data folder on your computer. Delete the folder to remove it.
- The Apple app: removing a computer deletes its address and token from this device. That doesn't revoke the token: Disable remote access in Agent Guild stops remote connections, and replacing Agent Guild's access token makes the old one stop working. iOS may keep Keychain items after an app is deleted, so remove your computers before you delete the app.
- The Android app: uninstalling it deletes everything it kept on this device. That doesn't revoke a token either: disable remote access or replace the access token in Agent Guild.
- World: manage or delete Workshop pieces you published on Steam.
- Email: if you write to us, we use your email only to answer it. Ask and we'll delete it.
